Solo travelers looking for no frills
I got a clean room with a kettle! Tea and coffee were just what I needed after a long night out. The staff was helpful when checking in, showed me around.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but it was still acceptable.

Quiet hotel, had good stay.
The staff was very helpful from my arrival up until I left. It was an ideal and exceptionally nice location very close to the centre as well as the garden.

I appreciated the daily tea and coffee restock.
The cleanliness was utterly unacceptable. My room had thick layers of dust that were hard to ignore, and the shared bathroom was just as dirty. The absence of breakfast options was a letdown since I had expected more from this stay.

The room was quite spacious, with nice high ceilings, but
The lack of an en suite was a bit inconvenient, especially for those who prefer privacy. Nonetheless, the shared bathroom was well-maintained. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from local cafes and attractions.

It was super affordable for the location, just a 20-minute walk to the playhouse. The single room was comfortable and warm. I loved that tea and coffee were restocked daily. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby too!

missingWrote a review on 22 Mayspacious roomhelpful hostfirm mattressshared bathroomcleaning frequency
The spacious room featured a strong heating system, a welcome relief from the cold. Cleanliness was satisfactory, with towels provided and tea and coffee available for convenience. The mattress proved too firm for side sleeping, leading to discomfort during the night. The shared bathroom could benefit from more frequent cleaning, especially during busy periods.

This venue is in a good spot near a bus stop and the botanical gardens, making it easy to explore the area, and I felt safe during my stay, plus there's a golf club just 2 km away.
